The Clinical Experience of Pyriformis Syndrome

Abstract
|

|
The pyriformis syndrome is an entrapment neuropathy in which the sciatic nerve is compromised by the pyriformis muscle.
Using local anesthetics and steroid injection through a needle guided by an electric nerve stimulator, we satisfactorily treated a case of pyriformis syndrome.
